Helping You Restore Inner Peace

Ryan Gallagher, LAc. Trauma-Informed Mindfulness Guide in Savannah, GA.

Hi there! I’m Ryan.

I’m a trauma-informed mindfulness guide in Savannah, Georgia.

I help folks access states of ease, safety, and vitality.

You can do this.

We each have the capacity to experience inner peace.
But sometimes we lose connection with that innate ability.
We get stuck in anxiety and depression.
I’m here to help you find the path back.

So…what does Ryan offer?

I’m glad you asked! I offer individual sessions, both in-person and online. In these sessions, I teach you about the polyvagal model of the nervous system, and I help you connect with your inner resources.

I’ve made a new video to help you understand my approach! Check it out here.

What’s this “polyvagal model”?

Polyvagal theory tells us that the nervous system has two modes: connection & protection.

“Connection” means we’re safely and calmly engaged with our life.

”Protection” means we’re activating our survival responses of fight, flight, and freeze.

Both modes are essential. However, many of us get stuck in protection mode. This leaves us feeling chronically anxious or depressed. We “forget” our capacity for experiencing ease.

My sessions are designed to you build pathways out of protection and into connection.

Where does “mindfulness” come in?

In these sessions, I help you listen to your body. There’s so much wisdom in your physiology! I guide you in skillfully responding to your body’s cues, and I help you develop the ability to “remember” connection mode.

Mindfulness is a faculty of memory. We need to “remember” how to feel safely and calmly engaged with our life. This a muscle that can be strengthened. I’m your connection-mode coach :)
