You're not broken. You're not too much.

Your nervous system simply never got the message it's safe now.

This is where that changes.

If you've spent your life stuck in survival mode — struggling in your relationships, weighed down by patterns you can't seem to change, and wondering why understanding yourself hasn't been enough to free you — I want you to know something first:

None of that is who you are.

It's a pattern, one your nervous system learned a long time ago, when just being yourself felt like a risk it couldn't afford to take.

Ryan Gallagher, somatic practitioner specializing in fawn-response trauma and nervous system healing, Athens GA and online

I'm Ryan, a somatic practitioner.

I work specifically with people living the effects of relational trauma — the survival patterns that develop when our relationships teach us it isn’t safe to be ourselves.

These patterns aren't character flaws. They're signals from a nervous system that is asking, finally, to be heard.

I offer two ways to work together:

Individual Somatic Sessions
For anyone navigating relational trauma who is ready to bring the body into their healing.

Safe to Be Memy signature 6-week somatic container
For people specifically caught in the fawn response — the nervous system survival strategy behind people-pleasing, perfectionism, codependency, and burnout — who are ready to finally feel safe being themselves.

Both of these offerings are available online or in person in Athens, GA.

Safe to Be Me is a six-week somatic container featuring individual sessions, enrichment activities, and between-session voice-note support.

If you've spent your life disappearing for other people — saying yes when you mean no, ignoring your own needs, becoming whoever the room seems to need you to be — you’re in the right place.

Safe to Be Me doesn't ask you to re-live your trauma or spend years narrating your story. It works at the level where the pattern actually lives — the body — so the change isn't something you have to keep deciding to make. It becomes who you are.

Six weeks. No need to perform. No need to prove yourself. Just presence, warmth, and the felt sense that it's finally safe to be yourself.
