When we’re feeling more regulated, resourced, and resilient, we can heal in so many ways!
My clients come to me with a wide range of mental-emotional and physical concerns. You might be experiencing conditions like:
• anxiety, panic, worry, fear, perfectionism, or obsessiveness
• depression, dissociation, isolation, sadness, or grief
• anger, rage, irritability, or volatility
• insomnia
• trauma
• addiction
• musculoskeletal pain
• headaches
• digestive disturbances
• menstrual or menopausal challenges
• allergies -
“Somatics” is a set of body-based awareness practices.
“The body keeps the score,” as they say. When we deepen our capacity to “listen” to the body and to make skillful adjustments, we can bolster the healing process.
In my somatic sessions, I draw on my training in the Tao of Trauma and Somatic Experiencing systems to help you nurture your nervous system and unwind patterns of trauma, anxiety, depression, and more.
You can learn more about somatics here.

No, I do not offer psychotherapy. Somatic therapy is a body-based approach to health and well-being. Often, clients see me alongside their psychotherapist; the two modalities go well together!

I do not accept medical insurance at this time, but I do offer a limited number of reduced-price sessions for those who are unable to afford the full price. Feel free to ask me about this!

It depends! Some folks need more support, some need less. Once I get a feel for your particular presentation, I’ll let you know how frequently I’d recommend coming in.

Meditation is a method of training the mind so that you experience more ease and well-being.
I have studied and practiced meditation for decades, beginning with a 2-year residence in a Zen monastery in my early 20s.
The primary influences on my meditation approach are the traditional Buddhist and Daoist teachings.
I offer meditation instruction in individual sessions as well as group classes.

Qigong (pronounced “chee gung”) is a form of mindful movement, similar to Tai Chi. It’s a great way to help you get out of your head and into your body.
I offer individual Qigong sessions, as well as group classes.
I’ve also created a self-paced, online Qigong course called Elemental Movements. Learn more about this course here.
