The body wants to “feel felt.” When we learn how to feel the body from the inside—when we learn how to perceive the body’s messages and respond with skill—we give ourselves the opportunity to ease our suffering and cultivate states of connection, safety, belonging, creativity, confidence, and comfort.
“Somatics” is the study of the body as it is experienced from the inside. In this three-class series, you’ll explore a variety of somatic practices. You’ll learn how to honor your body’s cues, and you’ll hone your ability to skillfully ride the “waves” of your nervous system.
This series is great for anyone who wants to learn about themselves in an embodied way; it’s especially geared toward those who struggle with chronic stress, anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, and trauma.
