Safe to Be Me
A 6-week somatic container for nervous systems
that never got the message it's safe now.
You're not too sensitive. You're not weak.
You're someone whose nervous system learned that being yourself wasn't safe — and it's been running that program ever since.
Safe to Be Me is a 6-week somatic container that works at the level where the pattern actually lives, so you can come home to yourself…maybe for the first time.
Safe to Be Me might be for you if…
You feel stuck in “survival mode.”
You tend to feel “on guard,” braced for something bad to happen.
You’re a people-pleaser; your comfort depends on how others are feeling.
You have a habit of saying “yes” when you want to say “no.”
You avoid conflict; you’re fearful of “making waves”; you have difficulty setting boundaries.
You over-rehearse for social interactions and feel upset when things don’t go perfectly.
You ignore your own preferences, needs, and opinions.
You have difficulty making decisions.
You feel disconnected from your truth, separated from your own authentic self.
Safe To Be Me helps you cultivate
authentic connection.
Authentic connection, first and foremost,
with your own self.
And also authentic connection with others
and the world at large.
So that you no longer need to abandon yourself
to feel connected.
My goals in offering Safe to Be Me:
• You feel more at home in your skin.
• Your relationships become more honest and open.
• You can start saying no without feeling like it’s the end of the world.
• Your decision-making becomes simpler and smoother.

“Somatics” is the study of the “soma,” which is how we experience the body from the inside.
When we deepen our capacity to skillfully “tune in” to the body, we can learn to reorient to safety and bolster the healing process.
In my somatic sessions, I draw on my training in the Somatic Experiencing and Tao of Trauma systems to help you nurture your nervous system and resolve patterns of chronic stress and trauma.
You can learn more about somatics here.

A somatic container is a space where all of you is welcome. It's a supportive relationship and structure designed to help your nervous system feel safe enough to slow down, tune inward, and explore what is true for you.
Many of us have learned to prioritize others' needs, suppress our feelings, or seek safety through pleasing and appeasing.
Within a somatic container, you don't have to perform, manage anyone else's reactions, or get it right. You can simply bring your authentic experience and be met with presence, curiosity, and care.
From that place of safety, your body can begin to let go of old patterns and reconnect with the person you've always been underneath them.

No, I am not a psychotherapist and I do not offer psychotherapy. Somatic therapy is a body-based, bottom-up approach to health and well-being. Often, clients see me alongside their psychotherapist; the two modalities go well together!

I do not accept medical insurance at this time.
