HOMECOMING *LIVE*
A Small-Group Course For Nurturing Your Nervous System
with Ryan Gallagher, LAc
Periodically, I offer a live component of my Homecoming course to support your process of embodying the Polyvagal teachings.
The 5-week Homecoming Live course is designed for a small group of 5-6 people meeting weekly (either in-person or online). Between our meetings, participants watch online course videos, which are filled with digestible information and transformative exercises. Then, we convene to share and discuss.
I find that the live component adds an extra depth to the process, allowing you to take your practice (and your transformation) that much further.
Who’s The Course For?
Humans! Especially humans who feel like they’re prone to getting stuck in states of “protection” (feeling chronically stressed, anxious, depressed, alienated, exhausted, dysregulated), and want greater access to states of “connection” (feeling resourced, regulated, resilient).
The course is great for those who suffer from trauma, including those who have difficulty in groups. I offer a safe and supportive “container” for you to engage with this work.
When’s It Happening?
The course runs periodically. Make sure you’re on my email list to get the latest Homecoming info. And feel free to email me to let me know that you’re interested and to suggest a weekly day/time that works for you—I’ll take this into account.
Where’s It Happening?
I offer two types of Homecoming cohorts: Ones that meet online (via Zoom) and ones that meet in-person (in Savannah).
What Are Ryan’s Influences?
Polyvagal Theory is the primary framework that I use for this course; it’s a profound view of the nervous system that I aim to present in a very accessible way. My approach is largely inspired by the teachings of Deb Dana; my Tao of Trauma training with Alaine Duncan; and my ongoing work with my clients (and myself!).

“Ryan's teaching/guiding style is grounded, empathetic, and rooted in wisdom. The material was digestible, and easy enough to incorporate into daily life. He kept the group small and intimate, which allowed for deeper conversations and a felt sense of safety. He held a very nurturing container/space for the group.
I noticed shifts taking place (within me) throughout the five week course, and am honestly amazed at how the material "works its magic" in REAL life! I am inspired by the material and how it will unfold.
I feel like any human being could benefit from working with Ryan within the scope of his offerings. He holds great medicine.”

“Ryan is a natural and compassionate teacher. He provides a safe space to authentically feel, express, and transform. I looked forward to the class every week, not only to learn from Ryan all about dealing with trauma, but to connect with the other people attending. I left every class with something I could use in my everyday life to deal with my emotional triggers and calm myself down.”
